Vide order dated 01.11.2023, in W.P.No.22699 of 2023, this Court had granted three months time to the 7th respondent in the writ petition to get patta and also planning permission from the Greater Chennai Corporation for the building in question.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner herein/7th respondent submitted that as per G.O.Ms.No.221, dated 04.05.2023, issuance of patta has been stopped in the Madhavaram Block at present and Therefore, the petitioner was not able to get patta in time and hence, the learned counsel seeks for extension of time.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons shown in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the prayer sought for by the petitioner deserves to be considered favourably.

4. Accordingly, time is extended by a further period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for the petitioner to obtain patta.
