No.73 of 2026) ..Respondent(s) PRAYER: The Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 528 of Cr.P.C. to modify the condition that the petitioners shall stay at Coimbatore and sign before the Peelamedu Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks imposed by this Honble Court in Crl.O.P.No.10005 of 2026 by way of order dated 21.04.2026.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.10005 of 2026 order dated 21.04.2026 directing the Petitioners to stay Coimbatore and to sign before the Peelamedu Police Station, daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners, being the daily wage employees, find difficult to comply the condition by staying at Coimbatore and hence prays to modify the condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police has strongly objected for modification stating that the petitioners have not at all complied the condition even for a single day.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioners have not at all complied the condition even for a single day, this Court is not inclined to consider the prayer of the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 18-06-2026 [1/2] MJS Note:
