This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the above case in Crime No.2304 of 2020 from the file of the Inspector of Police, Vikravandi Police Station, Villupuram District to file of second respondent herein viz the Inspector

of Police, District Crime Branch, Villupuram, Villupuram District or to any other investigating agency having competent jurisdiction to investigate the matter for proper investigation and report.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that after the registration of FIR in Crime No.2304 of 2020, the first respondent conducted a detailed investigation and closed as mistake of fact on 25.09.2020. Therefore, no investigation is pending on the file of the first respondent.

3. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
