O R D E R

Read this order in continuation of and in conjunction with the order ated 19.02.2025, which reads as follows:

Petitioner today files a typed-set enclosing a copy of proceedings dated 31.12.2024 ostensibly in compliance with the directions issued 1\4

under order dated 04.01.2024. The result of the proceedings is adverse to the petitioner.

Though normally in such circumstances there would nothing to be gained by keeping the contempt petition pending and liberty would have been granted to the petitioner to challenge the adverse proceedings in a manner known to law, in the present case, the petitioner would submit that there is an apparent error in proceedings dated 31.12.2024 rejecting his representation on the basis of the pendency of certain civil suits. According to him, the suits have been dismissed for default had been communicated to the respondent. The petitions seeking restoration had also been rejected. Hence it remains to be seen as to why proceedings dated 31.12.2024 refer to the civil proceedings.

3. Faced with this position, Ms.Sindhuzaa, seeks some time to obtain instructions and revert.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent would clarify and confirm the position that though the civil suit preferred by private parties to the writ petition was dismissed in favour of the writ petitioner on 10.07.2023 and I.A. No. 2 of 2023 filed by the plaintiff in the suit seeking restoration was also dismissed,, a second interlocutory application in I.A. No.3 of 2023 was filed in October, 2023 because of which TNEB has not decided the representation of the petitioner.

Since these proceedings cannot continue endlessly, the proceedings before the Civil Court, i.e., I.A. No. 3 of 2023 will be decided 2\4

by the Principal District Munsif, Poonamallee and disposed of within a period of three months from today.

Let a copy of this order be forwarded to the private respondents in the writ petition as well as the Court Manager of the aforesaid Court for compliance.

The representation of the petitioner shall be disposed immediately upon completion of the period of three months as aforesaid subject to the result of the I.A.
