The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.13 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no allegation that petitioner has received money from the de-facto complainant or from anybody on the promise of getting Health Inspector job, in Chennai Corporation. The allegation against the petitioner is that, he introduced A1 to the de-facto complainant. Apprehending arrest in Crime No.13 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 506(ii) of IPC, this petition is filed by the petitioner.

3. In response, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the petitioner along with other accused received Rs.10,00,000/- from the de-facto complainant on the promise of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

mpl getting employment in Chennai Corporation as Health Inspector. They had cheated four persons by receiving Rs.40,00,000/-. Petitioner received a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- as commission for his role.

Considering the nature of the allegations, wherein the accused said to have cheated four persons, on the promise of getting Health Inspector Job in Chennai Corporation and that the petitioner had received Rs.8,00,000/- as commission and investigation in this case also not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
