ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the father of one K.R.Jothika. Her date of birth is 14.6.1998. According to the petitioner, she has been found missing from 23.4.2016. On a complaint made by the petitioner, a case was registered on 24.4.2016. Since the minor girl was not secured by the police, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up, the detenue K.R. Jothika was produced by the second respondent. When we enquired her, she told us that her date of birth is 14.6.1998. She further told that she went on her own accord and married one Uthayakumar on 15.6.2016 and she has been living with him. She would further state that her mother-in-law Mrs. Selvi has come to the Court and therefore, she wants to go with her.

3. We are satisfied that there is no illegal detention as the detenue states that she has been living on her own with her husband and mother-in-law. Thus, no further direction as prayed for could be given.
