ORDER
The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 06.02.2025 for regularising the petitioner's husband's service from the date of his initial appointment, dated 01.12.1985 and consequently direct the respondents to pay monetary and service benefits with all consequential benefits and arrears.

The petitioner is the first legal heir of her husband M.Yesaian and have been receiving her husband's family pension, vide PPO No.R2616187, dated 26.11.2013 since the death of her husband dated 03.01.2023 and have full rights to pray for her husband's service regularisation from his initial appointment. The petitioner's husband was appointed as temporary Village Guard in Tiruppur Corporation on 01.12.1985 as per proceedings of Na.Ka.No.19956/85/A1, dated 01.09.1986 and her husband's service was regularised on 01.06.1995 and her husband had retired from service on 31.07.2013. From the date of initial appointment onwards, the petitioner's husband had rendered more than 27 years of service. The petitioner's husband's original appointment was made on 01.12.1985, but the date of issuance of the regularisation order was on 01.06.1995. Her husband was getting Selection Grade on completion of ten 2 / 5
years from the date of his initial appointment, which was not taken into consideration, resulting in the petitioner's family losinig the monetary and service benefits of her husband's service periods. Hence, the petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the submissions made on either side and taking into account the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2025 for regularising the petitioner's husband's service from the date of his initial appointment dated 01.12.1985 and consequently, the respondents shall pay monetary and service benefits with all consequential benefits and arrears.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
