This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for records of the 2nd respondent in its proceedings No. A.N.1(1)/ 01- 33 / 75/ 2025 dated 27.03.2026 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reckon the petitioner's seniority from the date of joining in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration in the light of the judgments passed by this court in WA No. 1797 and 1800 of 2021 dated 14.02.2022 and in WP No. 16848 and 16854 of 2020 dated 04.01.2022.

Mr. A.R.Balaji Government Advocate R1 to R3 Order This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To call for records of the 2nd respondent in its proceedings No. A.N.1(1)/ 01- 33 / 75/ 2025 dated 27.03.2026 issued by the 2nd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reckon the petitioner's seniority from the date of joining in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration in the light of the judgments passed by this court in WA No. 1797 and 1800 of 2021 dated 14.02.2022 and in WP No. 16848 and 16854 of 2020 dated 04.01.2022."
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the very same issue involved in this writ petition has been dealt by this Court in writ petitions in W.P.Nos.945 & 950 of 2019 dated 25.08.2020, wherein, it is observed as follows:
"For the above said reasons, the impugned orders dated 03.11.2018 in Na.Ka.No.AA.NA.1(A)43327/2014, are hereby set
aside and consequently, the respondents are directed to fix the seniority of the petitioners, taking into account the date of their joining in the CRA on 06.07.1998 and 05.11.1997, respectively and on such refixation, petitioners are entitled to consequential promotion to the post of Assistant and Superintendent at the appropriate times with all attendant benefits, except payment of differential salary. The petitioners are however entitled to notional fixation of pay. The Government is also directed in this regard to grant necessary relaxation, if it is required for complying with the above direction. The respondents are hereby directed to comply with the above direction within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
21. The writ petitions are allowed, as indicated above. No Costs."
3. This order was taken up on appeal by the State in WA.Nos.1797 & 1800 of 2021. The Division Bench by judgement dated 14.02.2022, dismissed the appeal confirming the order of the learned Single Judge.
4. The order passed in W.P.Nos.945 & 950 of 2019 dated 25.08.2020, applies on all fours to the case on hand and therefore, this writ petition is
disposed of on the same lines of the above order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
