Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass final order on petitioner's further representation dated 17.11.2020.

ORDER

Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The petitioner was issued with the charge memo dated 25.11.2014. The petitioner appears to have also given a further explanation in the said disciplinary proceedings.

3. The petitioner had earlier filed a writ petition in W.P (MD).No.17611 of 2015 challenging the aforesaid charge memo dated 25.11.2014. By an order dated 01.08.2019, the writ petition was disposed by directing the petitioner to co-operate with the inquiry proceedings and the respondent to complete the proceedings as expeditiously as possible. After the dismissal of the said writ petition, the petitioner has also given an explanation and the Inquiry Officer has also given an Inquiry Report on 14.08.2020.

4. Though the petitioner has given a representation dated 22.10.2020 and 17.11.2020, the Inquiry Report has not evoked further response from the Disciplinary Authority.

5. Considering the same, this Writ Petition is disposed by directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and complete the disciplinary proceedings initiated in the year 2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
