This application has been filed seeking to implead the petitioners as further respondents in the writ petition.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the petition, it had been stated that the petitioners were appointed as Assistant Engineers on 13.05.1988 and were discharging their duties. They were promoted as Assistant Executive Engineers by an order dated 13.02.2024. It had been stated that any decision taken in the writ petition would directly affect the service prospects of the petitioners herein and therefore, they have to be heard by this Court.

3. Heard the Learned Counsel for the petitioners.

4. Taking all factors and consideration, this Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed.

5. Registry is directed to implead the two petitioners as further respondents in the writ petition. Counter, if any, to be filed within a period of one week. Any and every promotion should be made in accordance with the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

6. Post this matter on 1 st week of April 2025.
