The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first respondent relating to his proceedings dated 11.05.2006 in Pro.No.2049/2006/E1, to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondent to forthwith promote the petitioner as Forest Ranger.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of the writ petition, the petitioner acquired his promotion and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. She has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.

3.Recording the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
