ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks a direction for the rejection of the nomination of the fifth respondent for the post of President of Cheyyur Village Panchayat, Arakkonam Taluk of the Ranipettai District.

2. It is too late in the day to entertain the petition, particularly since the nomination has been filed and accepted. However, the petitioner is left free to make a representation to the State Election Commission in accordance with law.

3. In the event the fifth respondent is declared elected, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the election in accordance with law.

4. W.P.No.21512 of 2021 is disposed of without going into the merits of the allegations. W.M.P.No.22734 of 2021 is closed. There will be no order as to costs.
