ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed with a prayer not to harass the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the police authorities are interfering in a civil dispute and are harassing the petitioner.
3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that a complaint has been lodged against the petitioner by way of a counter complaint and that the same is under enquiry.
4. In view thereof, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on 15.07.2026 and the enquiry shall be completed on the same day. If, for any reason, the enquiry could not be completed on the said day, it may be extended only by one more day and, beyond that, the enquiry shall not be kept pending.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. 01-07-2026 skr
