Common Prayer: Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records from the file of the 4th respondent made in Mu.Mu.18078/2009/E1 dated 22.1.2010 and quash the same and further direct the respondents not to cancel the patta Nos.647, 707 and 1468 in S.Nos.192 and 194, Manathal Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District.

Ramesh, AGP (for R1 & R4) Mr.S.Doraisamy (for R5 to R7) COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed to quash the impugned order dated 22.01.2010, passed by the fourth respondent and consequently, direct the official respondents not to cancel patta bearing Nos.647, 707 and 1468 in S.Nos.192 and 194, Manathal Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District. 2.When the matters were taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respective parties, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for herein does not survive as the Civil Suit filed related to the subject matter came to be decided against the petitioners herein by the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Omalur and in A.S.No.25 of 2018 by the Sub Court, Omalur.

3.Recording the same, these Writ Petitions stand closed, leaving it open to the official respondents to pass appropriate orders, on the application submitted by the respective parties, taking into consideration the judgment and decree passed in the civil proceedings. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
