2. The Petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation dated 12.03.2018 and 02.04.2018 to enquire about the illegal sand mining throughout Chennai, Poonamallee and Kancheepuram Districts. It appears that the Petitioner has made some allegations regarding illegal sand mining by respondents 5 to 7 without getting any permit from the concerned departments.

3. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that already lessee has lifted the permitted quantity of sand even before the completion of lease period and submitted that there is no illegal mining activity as alleged. The said submission is recorded.

4. In that view of the matter, this Writ Appeal is disposed of. No costs.
