O R D E R

This Court had directed the Block Development Officer, Panruti to hear the petitioner, respondents and any person interested and pass orders on the representation made by the Writ Petitioner. Alleging that this order has been violated, the present Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. It is not in dispute that the Block Development Officer has passed orders on 17.06.2025.

The learned counsel appearing for the Contempt Petitioner pleads that prior to passing the order, the contemnor did not peruse the records produced by the petitioner. If that be the situation, the remedy is not by way of a Contempt Petition, but to challenge the order so passed. I cannot convert the contempt jurisdiction into a proceeding under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
