Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to consider and dispose petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2024 requesting to survey and to issue patta & chitta to petitioner's agricultural land comprised in Survey No.57/3B, Jarthalav Village, Palacode Town & Taluk, Dharmapuri District, admeasuring an extent of 14 cents including the well and its surrounding area, as per the revenue records. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to survey and issue patta for the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.57/3B, measuring an extent of 14 cents, situated at Jarthalav Village, Palacode Town & Taluk, Dharmapuri District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2024. 2/6

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he has given representation to survey and issue patta for his property in Survey No.57/3B situated at Jarthalav Village, Palacode Town & Taluk, Dharmapuri District. However, the same has not been considered by the third respondent. Hence, he seeks a direction.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
