Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2018 and to provide alternate accommodation to the petitioner in the event of evicting the petitioner from R.S. No. 233/1 of Nasiyanur Village within the time fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

This writ petition is filed for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2018 and to provide alternate accommodation to the petitioner in the event of evicting the petitioner from R.S. The Revenue Inspector, West Firka, Erode Taluk, Erode, is present before this Court and her presence is recorded. 3.

The petitioner is said to be a Government Servant and he is said to have encroached upon a water body. When a show cause notice has been issued to the petitioner under Section 7 of Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act to evict him from the said premises followed by notice under Section 6 of the Act, he seeks alternate accommodation.

Being a Government Servant, he cannot be given any alternate accommodation. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Connected W.M.P. is closed.
