By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the land admeasuring 00.275 sq.mt. in New Survey No.92/23, Old Survey No.92/1 Part, Land Tax Patta No.223 situated in Wallajabad Taluk, Kanchipuram District and claims to have purchased the same, through a registered sale deed dated 26.11.1979, bearing document No.2698/1979 and claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the same and would further state that the said property is also subject to statutory levies. The petitioner submitted representation dated 30.03.2016 along with the prescribed fees to the respondent, praying for survey of the land. Though, it was acknowledged by the office of the third respondent on 30.03.2016, no further steps have been taken and therefore, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court by way of filing this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Paramasivam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4.This Court considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 30.03.2016, in accordance with law, if the papers are otherwise in order and after putting on notice the persons concerned, pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
