This contempt petition is filed challenging the interim order dated 12.06.2024 passed in W.P. No. 13308 of 2024 wherein at paragraph No.6, the name of the contempt petitioner along with others was directed to be Dr. ANITA SUMANTH,J.
nv included in the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission list of candidates issued on 07.05.2024 post physical certificate verification subject to the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
result of the writ petition.

However, today, when the contempt petition is taken up, Ms.G. Hema, learned Standing Counsel for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has filed counter dated nil February, 2025 wherein they confirm that there is compliance of the aforesaid direction and that the candidature of the petitioner was considered. However, as the petitioner had secured only 137.25 marks and was ranked 8683A, he fell out of the zone of consideration. To be noted that the marks of the last selected candidate in BC category to which the petitioner belongs is stated to be 148.25 with rank 3488.
