Respondent Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, by quashing the impunged order dated 7.2.2015 in Na.Ka.No.3014/2014/m7-c/,(C) passed by the respondent, by calling for the records pertaining to the same and directing the respondent, the Collector, Kancheepuram District, to restore the petitioner's power of signing the Bank Cheques pertaining to the Administration of the Vedal Village Panchayat, in the capacity of President of Vedal Village Panchayat, Kancheepuram District.

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition challenging the order of the Inspector of Panchayats and District Collector, Kancheepuram District, in and by which the cheque signing power of the petitioner was taken away and given to Block Development Officer, Walajabad.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the term of office of the petitioner got expired and hence the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
4. In the light of the above facts and the submissions made by the leaned Government Advocate, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
