..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner online application in application no.2026/0105/35/000399, dated 06.01.2026 seeking transfer of patta for his property situated at Thathaloor Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District comprised in Survey No.12/7 New Survey No.12/7A1 comprised in patta no.507 admeasuring to an extent of 1962 square feet.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's online application dated 06.01.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online application dated 06.01.2026 before the respondent for transfer of patta for his property situated at Thathaloor village, Thirukazhukundram taluk, Chengalpattu district comprised in Survey No.12/7, New Survey No.12/7A1 comprised in patta no.507 admeasuring to an extent of 1962 square feet. However, the said online application was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.M.Guruprasad, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and submitted that the petitioner's online application dated 06.01.2026 will be considered within a period of four weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's online application dated 06.01.2026, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
