ORDER

This civil revision petition seeks to strike off the proceedings in DVC.No.17 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court-I at

Mayiladuthurai.

2. Notice was ordered by this Court on 23.08.2023.

3. Subsequently, a memo of compromise has been filed by the first petitioner/Karthick and the sole respondent/Padmasri. In terms of the compromise, the parties have agreed to re-concile the differences and recommence cohabitation. The respondent/Padmasri is present before the court and so is Karthick.

4. Padmasri is clear and categorical that she will withdraw DVC.No.17 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court-I at Mayiladuthurai. She states that she is unable to withdraw the proceedings only on account of the interim order granted by this Court on 23.08.2023.

5. I have gone through the memo of compromise.

6. I do not find anything illegal or contrary to law. Both the parties who are present and whose identities have also been verified, confirmed that they

have entered into compromise out of the court. Hence, there are no vitiating circumstances.

7. In the light of the above discussion, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs. The memo of compromise filed on 14.06.2024 shall form part of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
