The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.07.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 450, 354, 376 r/w 511 of IPC and Section 4 of Women Harassment Act in Crime No.3 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had bitten the lips of the de-facto complainant's mother aged about 65 years, who is a bedridden person and attempted to commit rape on her. Hence, the complaint.

3. The petitioner have committed very serious and heinous offence as against the senior citizen and also attempted to commit rape on her.
