ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU,J] The petitioner is the husband of one Adaikalamary, who is aged about 48 years. They have got a minor daughter by name, Salithumary, aged about 16 years. According to the petitioner, the 3rd respondent has compelled her wife to live with him. In the meanwhile, the wife of the petitioner and his minor daughter Salithumarry were found missing from 04.04.2016. In this regard, the petitioner made a complaint to the respondents 1 and

2. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition.

We have heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and we have also perused the records carefully.

From the narration of facts in the affidavit, it is clear that there is no illegal detention. It appears that the detenues are residing with the 3rd respondent. There is no scope for issuing any direction as prayed for by the petitioner. 4.

In the result, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. However, the respondent police shall proceed further with the complaint given by the petitioner and act according to law. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To
