ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to investigate the case and file a final report in Cr. No. 653 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.653 of 2015 under Section 380 IPC against unknown accused.

4. In a case of theft, when the actual identity of the offender is not known, it will take time for the Police to apprehend the offender. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in order to find out the offender.

With this observation, this criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
