J.
The petitioner namely Suntharam, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.06.2023 for the offences punishable under Sections 302 IPC in Crime No.85 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, petitioner is falsely implicated as an accused in Crime No.85 of 2023 for the offences Sections 302 IPC stating that petitioner had murdered his own father. Petitioner is innocent. Petitioner is in judicial custody from 13.06.2023. Thus, he prays for grant of bail.
3. The learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), opposes this petition, on the ground that, this is a case of patricide, where petitioner had chased his aged father and hit him with wooden log. As a result, deceased Subburayan died. It is his further submission that, petitioner has four criminal case pending against him in Crime Nos.15 of 2011, 17 of 2014, 71 of 2015 and 245 of 2016. Therefore, he strongly opposed this petition. 1/3

Considering the nature of the allegations made in the first information report against the petitioner and that petitioner said to have murdered his own father and that petitioner has four cases pending against him, and that investigation in not completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
