Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents herein to cause the bodily production of Dr.Raji Eshwari, D/o. Samayappa Chettiar, residing at R/o. Eashwari Garden, Thirumurthi Hills, Udumalpet Taluk, Tirupur District before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) When this Habeas Corpus Petition came up for hearing today, the detenue appeared before us. She told us that now she is both physically and mentally alright and she is capable of maintaining herself without the help of anybody else. Her son Dr.Sukumar Rajendran also made appearance. He told us that the detenue needs some assistance and he would make arrangements for the same through his friend. The petitioner also made appearance. He told us that he would take care of the detenue.
2. When we made a specific enquiry repeatedly to the detenue as to whether she needs the help of either the petitioner or her son, she told us point blank that she is alright and she does not require any help from these two. She further told us that for about 20 years, she was able to maintain herself and she will continue to do the same. The said statement is recorded.
3. In view of the above, setting the detenue at liberty to decide about her future, we close this Habeas Corpus Petition.
