ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Krishnagiri, to return the original sale deed filed by the petitioner/appellant pursuant to the directions issued by this Court while disposing of the main appeal by judgment dated 29.08.2025.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, the original sale deed was filed before the learned Principal District Judge, Krishnagiri. Later, when a petition was filed before the concerned Court seeking return of document, it seems that the learned Principal District Judge, Krishnagiri, had mentioned that there was no specific direction issued by this Court for returning the sale deed.

4. In the considered view of this Court, it is not necessary for this Court to issue directions at each stage. When a petition is filed seeking return of original documents, the concerned Court must deal with the petition and if the Court deems it fit to return the document, the same can be returned to the petitioner. If not, the Court has to assign reasons as to why the original document could not be returned. It is not necessary for the petitioner to knock the doors of this Court to complete this procedural formality. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this petition.

With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. 01-07-2026 gm
