Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram to consider the bail application to be filed by the petitioner in Crime No.637 of 2017 on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tirukoilur, Villupuram District, on the same day of his surrender.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been laid by the petitioner seeking direction to the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram, to accept the surrender of the petitioner in Crime No.637 of 2017 on the file of the respondents and consider the bail petition on the same day itself.
2. According to the petitioner, he was arrayed as accused in crime No.637 of 2017, for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) IPC and under Sections 3(1) (r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2) (va) of the SC/ST (Prevention of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015. According to the petitioner, he has not committed the offences put forth against him and on account of the false case alleged against him, the petitioner is necessitated to seek for necessary directions.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, I deem it fit to issue the following directions.
(i) The petitioner shall surrender before the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram, within 10 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
(ii) On the petitioner surrendering before the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram and filing the bail application, the Principal Sessions Judge, Villupuram, is directed to consider and dispose of the bail application as expeditiously as possible, preferably on the date of surrender in accordance with law.
4. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
