PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the Detention order No.232/BCDFGISSSV/2025 Dated 30.04.2025 passed by the second respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce petitioner's son, namely, Jagadeesh @ Jaies, aged about 25 years, S/O Murugan, (who is now confined in Central Prison Puzhal, Chennai) before the Court, and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3428, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 13.06.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
