ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by V.Bharathidasan,J.] The petitioner is the husband of the detenue viz., Kasthuri. Alleging that the third respondent abducted the wife of the petitioner on 01.05.2016, he preferred a complaint to the second respondent on 05.05.2016 for "Woman missing". Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the complaint made by the petitioner in respect of missing of the detenue, a case has been now registered in Crime No.501 of 2016 and the same is under investigation. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Since it stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation is in progress, in the above circumstances, we are not inclined to grant any relief as prayed for by the petitioner except issuing a direction to the second respondent to further investigate the matter as expeditiously as possible and trace out the detenue. 4.With the above observation, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
