ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl. O.P. No.13223 of 2026 dated 20.05.2026 directing to deposit a sum of Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand Only) each (Non refundable) towards the account of Cancer Institute (WIA), Adayar, Savings Bank Account maintained at Andhra Bank, Madhya Kailash Branch, Cancer Institute(WIA), Dr.S.Krishnamurthi Campus, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai-36, Bearing SB Account No.149710011005477, IFS Code No.ANDB0001497, Branch Name and Code 1497, MICR No.600011049.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,000/- towards the account of Cancer Institute, Adyar vide order dated 20.05.2026, wherein the IFS code of the bank

concerned, has been wrongly mentioned and hence, he could not be able to comply the condition and hence, prayed to modify the same.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Police has not seriously objected for modification.

4. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the reasons stated in the affidavit by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition imposed in Crl. O.P. No.13223 of 2026 dated 20.05.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioners are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,000/-(Rupees Three thousand Only) each (Non refundable) towards the account of Cancer Institute (WIA), Adayar, Savings Bank Account maintained at Andhra Bank, Madhya Kailash Branch, Cancer Institute(WIA), Dr.S.Krishnamurthi Campus, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai-36, Bearing SB Account No.149710011005477, IFS Code No.ANDB0001497, Branch Name and Code 1497, MICR No.600011049" is modified to the effect that "the petitioners are directed to deposit a sum of Rs.3,000/-(Rupees Three thousand Only) each (Non refundable) towards the account of Cancer Institute (WIA), Adayar, Savings Bank Account maintained at Andhra Bank, Madhya Kailash Branch, Cancer Institute(WIA), Dr.S.Krishnamurthi Campus, Sardar Patel Road, Chennai-36, Bearing SB

Account No.149710011005477, IFS Code No.UBIN0814971, Branch Name and Code 1497, MICR No.600011049". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
