Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 25.06.2018 of the petitioner against the orders of the second respondent in Pro.No.BB2/21953/2011 dated 16.02.2018 within a limited time frame on merits and in accordance with law and to defer the recovery till then.

By consent of the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner while serving as Forest Watcher, was terminated by the second respondent vide order dated 16.04.2009. The said order was challenged before the first respondent by way of a statutory appeal. The appeal was filed on 25.06.2018. However, follow up action was not taken by the first respondent, resulting in filing this Writ Petition.

3.Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, no useful purpose is going to be served seeking counter affidavit from the respondents. Hence, the *first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner dated 25.06.2018 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
