ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by S.Nagamuthu,J.] The petitioner is the husband of one Ms.Kalavathy, aged 48 years. Alleging that from 09.05.2016 she has been missing, he made a complaint to the third respondent police on 20.05.2016. Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detenue had collected a huge sum from various persons https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
under the guise of running a chit fund and she has disappeared with the said amount collected by cheating the general public. There are number of complaints received by them in this regard. From these allegations, it is crystal clear, that the woman having collected the amount is hiding herself in order to get out from the clutches of law.
4. We do not find any allegation of illegal detention warranting any order in this petition. There is no merit at all in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
5. In such view of the matter, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed.
