O R D E R

(The order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN.,J ) This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the sister of the detenu stating that her brother, Venkatesan, aged about 27 years, has been missing from 30.07.2014. Therefore, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent police, on 06.08.2014, and it has been registered, in Crime No.1122 of 2014, as a 'man-missing' case.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondent, has submitted that all necessary steps are being taken to trace the detenu.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondent, we are of the view that no further orders are necessary in this habeas corpus petition. Accordingly, the habeas corpus petition stands closed. However, the respondent police is directed to continue the investigation and take necessary steps to trace the detenu, in accordance with law.
