..Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 2nd respondent from taking any action against the petitioner pursuant to and in terms of the press release No.91/2013, dated 10.12.2013 pending consideration of the petitioner's DAS license applications dated 05.07.2012 and 23.11.2012 with the 1st respondent.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
2. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the 2nd respondent from taking any action against the petitioner, pending consideration of the petitioner's licence applications dated 05.07.2012 and 23.11.2012.

3. The learned Assistant Solicitor General of India for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was already granted licence, pursuant to the applications dated 05.07.2012 and 23.11.2012 and the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. In this regard, the order of the Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, dated 17.04.2017 has been placed before this Court for perusal.
