Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, Govt's Counsel Order This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2026 seeking for issuance of patta in respect of the property comprised in S.F. No.18, measuring an extent of 98 acres and 47 cents, situated at Kodapattinam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District.
2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 13.04.2026 seeking for an issuance of patta in his favour for the property comprised in in S.F. No.18, measuring an extent of 98 acres and 47 cents, situated at Kodapattinam Village, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpattu District. However, the said representation was not considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3.Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2026 will be considered and disposed of within a period of four weeks.
4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
