PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the Respondent not to harass based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police are harassing the petitioner with regard to a civil dispute by calling him at odd hours. Despite the petitioner appeared, on 30.09.2021, before the respondent police, explained the position and also furnished certain documents, he was forced to give an undertaking and he was also insisted to participate in the further enquiry. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

needed for completing the enquiry. Though on 30.09.2021, the petitioner had appeared before the respondent police and gave explanation, he sought time to produce documents to substantiate his explanation. For which, the petitioner is needed.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is ready and willing to appear before the first respondent on 01.11.2021.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
