PRAYER:

Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent pertaining to R.C.No.2/2002/A1 dated 12.03.2002 and quash the same and direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner at appropriate place above the respondents 4 to 8 as per seniority list published in the year 1996 to 2001. For Petitioners : Mr.A.Ilango For Respondents : Mr.K.Ravikumar (for RR1 to 3). No appearance (for RR4 to 8).

ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the first respondent pertaining to R.C.No.2/2002/A1 dated 12.03.2002 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and quash the same and direct the respondents to fix the seniority of the petitioner at appropriate place above the respondents 4 to 8 as per seniority list published in the year 1996 to 2001.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and seek permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Writ Petition. 3.In view of the same, this writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
