(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the 1st respondent/State Human Rights Commission, dated 12.09.2022, directing the petitioner to pay a compensation of Rs.25,000/- each to the respondents 2 and 3, for the violation of human rights.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the contesting respondents/complainants who have suffered human rights violation at the hands of the petitioner, had expressed the desire of the respondents to pardon, if the petitioner tenders his apology in person. Accordingly, the petitioner appears to have visited the complainants' place and asked for their apology. An affidavit is also filed by the petitioner to that effect. It is also stated by the petitioner in his affidavit that the Government have not so far deducted any amount from his salary towards compensation, pursuant to the recommendations of the 1st respondent Commission. 3.Having regard to the stand taken by the contesting respondents that they have accepted the apology tendered by the petitioner and also taking note of the fact that there is no question of deduction of any money since the compensation has been waived and that the petitioner's conduct has been condoned by the complainants, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be allowed, as the issue has been amicably settled between the parties.

4.In that view of the change of circumstances, this writ petition is allowed and the order of the 1st respondent/State Human Rights Commission dated 12.09.2022, is set aside by recording the events stated earlier.
