Heard Mr.V.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.M.Velmurugan, learned counsel appearing for first respondent and Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned Assistant Solicitor General-I appearing for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner has sought for direction to the Respondents not to construct any shops or structures in the open space available in between M and N blocks, Periyar vegetable market, Koyambedu wholesale market Complex, Koyambedu, Chennai alternatively direct the respondents to provide adequate open or common space within the said market.
3. When the writ petition was called on 06.10.2016, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the markets have already been constructed but however sought for further time to verify on certain other facts and consequently the writ petition is listed today (07.10.2016).
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however did not appear, when the matter was called.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents also re-affirmed that the shops have already been constructed in the said space.
