ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Cr.No.405/2025 pending on the file of Inspector of Police (Crime), Nolambur Police station, Chennai district in accordance with law.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though based on the complaint, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.405 of 2025 for offences under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023, final report, in this case, is yet to be filed.

3.The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that in this case, investigation almost completed and final report would be filed within a period of three months. 4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
