O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.29 of 2023 on the file of first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.R.Thamaraiselvan, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that investigation was completed and final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate II, Hosur and the Court below is yet to take cognizance of the same. 2/4

4. In view of the above development, there is no scope to interfere with the First Information Report at this stage. There shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate II, Hosur, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent police within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If ultimately the final report is taken cognizance and summons are issued to the petitioners and if the petitioners are aggrieved by the same, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 31.07.2023 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No gm 3/4
