O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent herein, viz. the Inspector of Police, Chinnasalem, Villupuram District to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner, his family members and petitioner's peaceful possession of the property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the dispute is essentially between the petitioner and his brother Kandasamy. In this regard, on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have conducted enquiry in CSR No.395 of 2016 and on the statement given by the petitioner that no further action need to be taken, the petition enquiry was closed on 25.09.2016. A copy of the closure report has been submitted to the Court.
