ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth, J.) The petitioner is aggrieved by the condition relating to imposition of escort while granting emergency leave of 6 days vide order dated 16.4.2026.

2. We have heard Ms.Nadhiya, learned counsel for petitioner and MR.C.R.Malarvannan, learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) for the respondents.

3. The recommendation of the Probation Officer is favourable to the convict. That apart, the convict has also been asked to report everyday in the jurisdictional police station.

4. Most importantly, Mr.Malarvannan, does not have any serious objection to the removal of the condition for escort.

5. Thus, in light of the aforesaid, the grant of emergency leave of the aforesaid order shall be without escort and this writ petition is allowed as prayed for. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [A.S.M, J.] [S.M, J.] 15-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking order ssm
