This application has been filed to extend the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator for a period of 9 months.

2. The learned counsel for the respondent would submit that this matter has been pending since 2020 and the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator is also extending from time to time. Hence, he requests this Court to extend the Mandate for any shorter period.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application, this Court is inclined to extend the Mandate of the Arbitrator for a period of 8 months.

4. Accordingly, this application is allowed and the Mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended for a period of 8 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order by the learned Arbitrator.
