O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to pass orders on the representations dated 04.11.2017, 06.12.2017, 28.02.2018 and 01.03.2018 seeking initiation of appropriate action as per law against the 3rd and 4th respondents.

2. Today, Mr.N.Anbalagan, Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Circle, Thanjavur District, is present before this Court.

It is seen that this petitioner had filed a petition under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. in CMP.No.7574 of 2017 before the Judicial Magistrate, Pattukottai and on the directions of the Judicial Magistrate, the Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Police Station (4th respondent herein) has registered a case in Crime No.392 of 2017 on 25.12.2017 for the offences under Section 147, 294-B, 323, 427, 506(i) and 379 IPC against one Mala and others. On the complaint given by Mala, the Inspector of Police, Pattukottai Police Station (4th respondent herein) has registered a case in Crime No.30 of 2018 on 26.01.2018 for the offences under Sections 147, 448, 427, 353 and 506(i) IPC against the petitioner herein and 10 others. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has given the representations dated 04.11.2017, 06.12.2017, 28.02.2018 and 01.03.

2018, making allegations against the Investigating Officer (4th respondent herein) in Crime No.392 of 2017 and the Superior Officer viz., the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pattukottai Range, (3rd respondent herein) and thereafter, filed the present petition seeking mandamus.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that these respondents 3 & 4 behaved in a very bad manner with the petitioner, which, of course, was denied by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 2 and 3.

5. On a reading of the representations, this Court is of the view that the representations have been given in order to halt the investigation in Crime Nos.392 of 2017 & 30 of 2018. Hence, this petition is dismissed as being devoid of merits, with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
