ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 12.05.2025, wherein, the petitioner has requested the TWAD Board to remove the compound wall and other structures which has been put up by encroaching the property belonging to the petitioner to an extent of 313 sq. meters (approximately 8 cents).

3/6 2.Heard Mr.E.K.Kumaresan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, Mr.P.Aishwarya, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent and Ms.Meghala, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 2 to 4.

3.It is seen from records that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode has already taken note of the report submitted after the survey and has informed the 4th respondent that structures have been erected by encroaching nearly 313 sq. meters in the property belonging to the petitioner. Since the said report was not acted upon, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 12.05.2025 and the same was also did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and also considering the communication made by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Erode to the 4th respondent dated

4/6 13.03.2025, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the representation and to take necessary action. This process shall be completed, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
