ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to investigate the Crime No.567 of 2019 and to file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation has been completed and a closure report has been filed in RC.No.40 of 2019, dated 22.12.2020 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Virudhachalam.

3. The submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded and if the defacto complainant is aggrieved by the closure report filed by the respondent Police, it is always open to the defacto complainant to file a protest petition and work out his remedy in accordance with law.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
